Why TIER exists.

Lifting is mostly invisible work. You train, you change, and your only measures are a scale, a mirror, and a guess at how you compare to strangers online.

TIER answers the question every serious lifter asks: where do I stand, and what does it take to climb? Bronze to Apex, mapped to your weight class, your training age, and your specific lifts. The work gets measured. The climb gets a name.

FAQ

Questions.

How accurate is the body composition?
Within 2–4% of clinical DEXA for most users. The ranking system averages multiple scans over time, so single bad photos don't tank your rank.
Can people game the leaderboards?
Photo gaming (good lighting, pump, flex) is real but limited. Front and back capture, standardized lighting checks, and periodic re-verification reduce it. Strength PRs are harder to fake but possible. v2 adds video verification for high-tier strength claims. v1 trusts users and flags obvious outliers.
What if I'm a beginner?
Cohort leaderboards by training age. Beginners climb fastest. The early gains hit the hardest.
What if I just lift, no physique focus?
Strength-only ranking works. Skip the photos, log your lifts, get your strength tier and per-lift tiers. Composite tier needs both inputs.
Will this make me feel bad about my body?
TIER is built for lifters who want a direct read on where they stand and what they're chasing. The ranking is honest. The climb is the reward.
What about coaching, programs, form check?
Not in v1. TIER ranks you and shows you what climbing requires. Training methodology is a separate problem with good existing resources. TIER focuses on the ranking and progression layer.
